Hello World..

Hey what do you know, it's my first blog.. I'm Ryan Roush.. AKA Nowshi.. founder of Sic1Eight Records.. being as I'm from the 618 or "sic1eight" As I like to call it which is in the SO ILL (Southern Illinois).. I'm here today to say, that while the "Windy City" is my favorite city.. Illinois has much more to offer than just "Hot Air" of a summer time. You just need to go about 4 or 5 hours south to the hub that is the wicked midwest..

First you will find.... Farms.. then you will find!!... Nursing homes... then you will find!!! Gas stations.. and after a long list of not very exciting stuff.. you will find a subculture of people... now I call it a subculture.. but truth be told.. It's the real culture of my generation.. and those after.. while the current social norms here are ages behind the rest of the world.. pretty sad really..

some of us though realize that we want to live life to the fullest.. and so comes "Lawrence Vegas".. Nestled among cornfields and farmers you will find a very seedy underbelly getting fatter and fatter.. Corruption.. Scandals.. drug rings.. crime of all varieties.. committed by all walks of life on all levels.. nobody is excluded from the super rich to the super poor.. It isn't often you'll find a small community like this that is the focal point to a "tabloid". A tabloid that seems truthful more often than not..

And so.. my goal is to change all of that for the better and bring prosperity to redneck ghettos all over the midwest.. I'll start by voting Josh Weger for state senate..

My tool? Music... for over a decade my addiction to music has led me to make it in any way I can fathom.. For the last 4 years give or take my focus has been 90% on learning how to make music better and build my studio to a finely oiled machine.. While our music has sacrificed during this time.. the payoff is near.. After getting my doctorate from youtube university.. some professional instruction.. and putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together in my head.. I'm happy to say that I am FINALLY content with my understanding of "how" it's done and how to get "THAT" sound.. and so now it's time to turn the focus to the music.. but..

One day.. I'm gonna build a skyscraper right here on the rural route.. one big enough so the world can know that we are still here!!!!
